News

Workshop: Lucas Nijs, Frederik De Bleser and Tom De Smedt are hosting a type design / NodeBox workshop at the Lahti Institute of Design (Finland) from February 7 to February 16. Stay tuned for updates!

Bezier Editor: the NodeBox Bezier path editor offers an interactive way to construct paths in NodeBox. Some things are better done with the mouse than with code and creating smooth paths just the way you want is one of them.

Core Image: the Core Image library for NodeBox adds image manipulation to NodeBox. It's like having control over Photoshop through simple Python programming commands.

Linguistics: with the Nodebox English Linguistics library you can do grammar inflection and semantic operations on English content.

Current projects

IWT Gravital: a NodeBox spin-off that links language to AI to design. Like NodeBox, you will be able to create visuals using simple Python code, but also using natural language (e.g. plain English) or a slick node-based interface.

VAF Creatures: an experimental project bordering between art and gaming. Insects will swarm around, plants will grow, life will virally adapt. As a player it will be your goal to keep life in balance.
